Björn Einarsson
Björn is an Icelandic local who has guided visitors along the South Coast since 2020 and out to the glacier lagoon and Diamond Beach since 2022. By his own count he has hosted more than 1,000 international travellers on the long eastern route: past Seljalandsfoss and the black-sand village of Vík, across the Eldhraun lava field, all the way to the ice at Jökulsárlón. His ground is the practical side of that day. When the boat cruise is running, how the light falls on the beach, why the drive back can turn up the aurora, and when the weather says turn around. Ask him what makes the day worth doing and the answer is plain. Good timing, honest expectations, and someone else at the wheel for the five hours each way.

Plainly: Björn guides the South Coast and the glacier lagoon, but he does not lead the specific coach this site features. He knows the route firsthand, standing at the lagoon in every season and reading the weather on the drive, so he vets the featured listing the way a working guide would, without pretending to be behind its wheel.

How this site checks its facts
Every figure here traces to a real source. The tour's rating, review count, duration, inclusions, pickup arrangement, boat-cruise season and cancellation terms all come from the operator's official GetYourGuide listing, and we re-check them against it rather than letting them drift. Where a value moves, like the price for a given date and currency, we send you to the live listing instead of freezing a number that will go stale.
